New Zealand Tertiary College students have performed outstandingly according to the educational performance indicators published by the Tertiary Education Commission.

The 2021 results for Tertiary Education Organisations (TEOS) are now available. The analysis is intended to provide prospective students with a comparison between tertiary institutions for educational performance.

NZTC’s course completion rates surpass the rate of all Private Training Establishments by 5% and Institutes of Technology by 6%.

2021 was another challenging year for New Zealand as Covid-19 continued to disrupt daily life, but the extensive student support services offered by NZTC came to the fore as 85% of all students successfully completed their courses.

“Throughout the pandemic, NZTC has been resolute in its commitment to supporting students to continue their studies with minimal disruption and above and beyond support. Our technology-enabled education has ensured that our students learning journey has been largely unaffected by Covid-19,” said Chief Executive Selena Fox.

“Our NZTC Team is proud to be celebrating these outstanding results in our 40th anniversary year,” she said.
