International recognition
Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
Our Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) and Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education) qualifications are approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) – the body which oversees the national quality framework for the Australian early childhood sector. This means that NZTC graduates wishing to apply for Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) status in Australia can do so without having to apply for an assessment of their qualifications.
China List
NZTC is recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Education as a trusted education provider and is listed on the Jiaoyu Shewai Jianguan Xinxiwang website for high quality education institutions outside China. Our qualifications are approved for Chinese students to attain public and private work in China by the Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE).
The University Grants Commission - Sri Lanka
The University Grants Commission - Sri Lanka recognises NZTC as an international higher education provider of standing. The University Grants Commission - Sri Lanka is responsible for the quality of higher education in Sri Lanka.
Malaysian Qualifications Agency & Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education
The college’s Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) qualification is the first New Zealand degree to be accredited by the Malaysia Ministry of Education and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency – the entity responsible for quality assurance in higher education in Malaysia.
Anabin
NZTC is listed on Anabin – a German higher education database and website that shares international tertiary institutions offering recognised BA/MA courses that German universities can partner with. This means our degree students have the ability to study and work in Germany, or further their study at a German university.
