NZTC International Team jetting off to inspire future kaiako
With international borders continuing to reopen globally, NZTC team members are preparing for a trip to China where they will have the opportunity to share the college’s study programs with prospective students across 12 cities.
International Marketing Manager, Audrey Wang, will attend two educational partner seminars organised by Education New Zealand in May, in the cities of Guangzhou and Beijing.
“We are thrilled to be able to once again meet face to face and share the benefits of experiencing Aotearoa New Zealand’s culture and lifestyle, while working towards a qualification in early childhood education.
“NZTC offers wraparound support, assisting students at every step along their study journey. The opportunity to connect with our educational partners and prospective students overseas allows us to put in place those support structures,” says Wang.
Many international students from China have been inspired to take the next steps in their ECE career with NZTC, including YuQiong Cui, who made the move to New Zealand to study the Graduate Diploma in Teaching (ECE).
Cui first heard about NZTC after attending an education seminar in China. Now settled into her new home in Christchurch, she is well on her way to fulfilling her dream of becoming a qualified early childhood kaiako.
“I would like to say thank you to NZTC’s International Team, especially Audrey Wang, who I met at an international education exhibition. She made it very clear about what NZTC’s programs involved and what kind of career I could pursue by studying at NZTC. That gave me a solid understanding and helped me to decide.”
