First international marketing trip of 35th year

Early Childhood Education News

Christopher Handscomb sets off on the first international marketing trip of 2017 to Malaysia and the Philippines in March.

The New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) Business Development Manager is looking forward to meeting Educational Partners and prospective students in Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Miri and Sibu in Malaysia, and in Manila in the Philippines.

“I will be joining education expos, visiting Educational Partners and also attending the Education New Zealand agent seminar and workshop in Manila on 10 March.”

It is Christopher’s first visit to the Philippines and he is looking forward to visiting a new country, culture and market.

Not only will he be sharing the benefits of studying an internationally recognised, NZQA approved qualification with NZTC, but also that the College is celebrating 35 years as a leader in early childhood teacher education in 2017.

Malaysia and the Philippines are emerging markets for NZTC and Christopher says the whole of the NZTC community can benefit from having greater student diversity.

“Having a diverse range of views on how different countries contribute to early childhood education in discussions is invaluable to the learning experience.”

When Christopher is not out promoting NZTC qualifications on his trip, he will most likely be enjoying the Southeast Asian cuisine.
