Christmas congratulations and joy

Early Childhood Education News

Navigating work and study amidst a global pandemic is no easy feat. Despite this, over 500 extraordinary individuals pursuing early childhood qualifications ranging from bachelor’s to master’s level rose above all challenges, striving to improve the lives of children, families and communities through their hard work, achievement and daily contribution to the ECE sector.

Our graduates are a true gift to a sector in need. Qualified educators are strongly sought after as centres struggle to fill teaching vacancies, with the demand for registered teachers currently greater than supply.

We take this opportunity to share special Christmas congratulations and joy to each and every one of our outstanding early childhood education students who graduated this year.

“It is an honour to have supported our students to further their early childhood education learning journeys this year. In a time of such critical need for outstanding graduates with ECE qualifications, we know personally the gift to our sector, and the lives of children and families, that they will be,” said NZTC Chief Executive Selena Fox.

“NZTC is privileged to have supported them with the development of essential skills that will enable them to make thoughtful and educated decisions to positively enhance their care and education of young children.

“We can’t wait to see what our graduates achieve in the time ahead, as they look to serve the ECE sector with an abundance of Vision, Heart, Competence and Spirit,” said Fox.
