Early Childhood Education

To celebrate an incredible 40 years of empowering students to care, educate and serve meaningfully and effectively, New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) is excited to gift a special boxed set of Number Puzzle Cards to early childhood centres around the country.

Designed in New Zealand, our hands-on Number Puzzle Cards enable engagement with numbers in a fun way through play, teaching number recognition, counting and colour matching – all while developing fine motor skills. Each set includes 20 unique and eye-catching number puzzles, including a special edition number 40 in honour of our 40th year.

Nurturing the development of numeracy skills creates a strong foundation for future mathematical learning and development, preparing tamariki for daily problem solving that will be encountered in years to come.

“Our founders shared their VISION 40 years ago and today we are sharing our HEART with the ECE sector as we celebrate the significance of our 40th anniversary year. I’m looking forward to seeing these cards in the hands of children throughout New Zealand as we share our NZTC SPIRIT and support the development of COMPETENCE in our youngest learners,” said Chief Executive Selena Fox.
