Enrolments Advisor - Health and Wellbeing

New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) has been providing comprehensive and professional programs to enable students to excel in their chosen field for over 35 years. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Enrolments Advisor to join our Health and Wellbeing Enrolments team.

As Enrolments Advisor, you play a key role promoting our programs to students and ensuring that NZTC's highly reputable profile is continually raised, including:

  • Promoting to high schools and health and wellbeing services
  • Working to meet enrolment targets
  • Operating as the key contact point for students throughout the application and enrolment processes

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a passion for high quality customer service and a drive to achieve set targets
  • Have an ability to effectively build and maintain professional networks and relationships
  • Have outstanding communication with efficient time management and organisation skills
  • Be professional, highly motivated and eager to learn

Associate Teacher Support

Application Analyst

An opportunity has arisen in our IT team at the college for an Application Analyst.

This is a hands-on senior role working on the ongoing development of our in-house Learning Management System.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in a software development capacity (minimum 3+ years) with sound knowledge or experience of the following:

  • Scoping of customer needs and preparing documentation for our development team
  • Understanding of Microsoft based software development including .Net and SQL Database
  • Microsoft core server technologies including IIS and SQL Server
  • Experience in application testing processes essential
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills essential
  • Experience of working in a high pressure and deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrates initiative with excellent time management skills
  • Experience working with virtualisation & cloud computing an advantage

Senior Systems Engineer

An opportunity has arisen at the College for a Senior Systems Engineer.

This is a hands-on senior role including day-to-day responsibility for our network, infrastructure, hardware and servers. The successful candidate will have articulate communication skills, and a good command of English (written & verbal).

The successful candidate will also have demonstrated success in a service delivery or systems engineer capacity (minimum 3+ years) with sound knowledge of the following areas:

  • Windows 7 and 10 desktop and laptop deployment & support experience
  • Microsoft core server technologies including, Active Directory Services, Exchange, SQL Server
  • Networking (LAN/WAN) experience, with knowledge of switching and routing technologies
  • Virtualisation & cloud computing experience
  • Understanding of firewall & security principles & technologies
  • Mobile computing technologies
  • IP phone systems
  • Linux / Apple (exposure)
  • Knowledge of SharePoint management would be an advantage
