New professional development tool available for Associate Teachers
The ATPD Hub is the digital place to be for New Zealand Tertiary College’s Associate Teachers.
Launched in conjunction with professional learning specialists ECE Learning Unlimited, the new platform is a centralised location of resources to support and enhance the skills of Associate Teachers (ATs) as they mentor and guide student teachers.
The program provides a structured pathway for professional growth, with all the information needed for ATs to succeed in their mentor role.
Associate Teachers will also have access to a program of live and recorded webinars, and additional resources from ECE Learning Unlimited.
“This new platform builds on the professional development previously provided, opening new opportunities to access professional development and information about being an AT for NZTC. This ensures ATs are well-equipped to foster the development of future teachers,” says Fiona Woodgate, NZTC’s Program Leader – Field Practice.
“Our ATs are a vital part of the college and make valuable contributions to the wider sector, tamariki, and their whānau. We’re proud to be collaborating with ECE Learning Unlimited to empower them in their roles."
