Name: Noppamast Sae-Tang (Yui)
Qualification: Postgraduate Diploma in Education (ECE)
Having dedicated over a decade to shaping the lives of young children as a kindergarten teacher in Bangkok, Noppamast Sae-Tang’s (Yui) fascination with early childhood education was ignited by her love for nurturing young minds.
“I’ve been working with young children for about 10 years now, and I really enjoy this rewarding career where I get to work with my heart and show kindness to the next generation.”
Her desire to enhance her expertise in this field and provide the best possible learning experiences for her students motivated her to pursue the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (ECE) with NZTC.
When it came to selecting a tertiary provider for her studies, NZTC’s commitment to excellence and its alignment with her personal values made it the perfect fit for her postgraduate study journey in New Zealand.
“I chose to study with NZTC because the college has a strong 40-year reputation for quality early childhood education, and the college values resonate with me.
“What NZTC and I have in common is that our work benefits children, their families and the wider community.”
Yui shares how studying via NZTC Online has enabled her to pursue her studies with flexibility and convenience, and she appreciates the responsive nature and support from the lecturers.
“I’m very fond of NZTC Online, the content is clear and well designed. The reading materials, weekly discussions and assessments are very well related and practical. Also, the lecturers help students develop critical thinking and analysis.
“I can access online libraries and find research articles to support my studies. It’s great that lecturers and support staff are there to respond promptly during working hours.”
She says her postgraduate studies have exposed her to a broader perspective on early childhood education, covering areas such as workplace relationships, teacher-parent partnerships and children’s diversity and development.
“These learnings will help me to be more considerate as I continue my teaching career in New Zealand. I plan to apply my knowledge gained through NZTC to benefit young children, colleagues, students’ parents and whānau.”
She plans to continue her study journey with NZTC by pursuing a Master of Early Childhood Education.
