NZTC Qualification: Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education)

Mani Singh’s decision to move to New Zealand was driven by a lifelong dream to inspire, educate and empower young children.

“Moving to New Zealand was a big decision, but one that has enabled me to fulfil my life purpose,” said Mani. “With NZTC’s long history and global reputation, I always knew I was in good hands.”

Since arriving in New Zealand in 2017, Mani has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (ECE) and Graduate Diploma in Teaching (ECE) with NZTC. She is now pursuing further study and is thrilled to have secured a permanent teaching role.

“I am currently partway through the Master of Early Childhood Education qualification with NZTC and am now a full-time teacher in a Kindercare centre.

“When I look back at my journey now, I’m confident that I made the right choice. I feel empowered by what I’ve learnt and I know that I can make a change in the lives of young children, families and communities.”

Having received New Zealand residency back in 2020, Mani loves her new life, where she sees her role as an early childhood teacher as an opportunity to help build capable, competent and responsible citizens.
