NZTC Chief Executive Selena Fox presented at the “World Forum of Working Groups on Early Childhood: Civil Society – State” in Cali, Colombia in November 2009.

An article about the forum is featured in Jan/Feb 2010 edition of ChildCare Exchange magazine, and online at the World Forum Foundation website: www.worldforumfoundation.org

The forum was organised by Colombian members of the World Forum Foundation to examine recent initiatives by governments in Latin America to support early childhood care and education. The forum discussed how governments and the private sector in the region can work together to achieve these initiatives.

Selena was one of 12 international guests invited to deliver a key note address at the forum. Entitled “Innovations in Early Childhood Education – a New Zealand experience,” Selena’s presentation shared how NZTC is successfully delivering online learning programs to students of early childhood teaching, and how NZTC has developed its own innovative e-learning technology – NZTC Online.
