Pastoral Support

An opportunity has arisen at the college for someone who has experience in guiding and supporting students to join the NZTC Pastoral Support Team.

As Pastoral Support you will play a key role in supporting all student pastoral issues including: student liaison and support, student orientation, maintain overview of student progress, identify student personal and pastoral issues and provide positive resolutions.

Enrolments Advisor

As Enrolments Advisor, you play a key role promoting our programs to students and ensuring that NZTC's highly reputable profile is continually raised, including:

  • Promoting to high schools and early childhood centres
  • Working to meet enrolment targets
  • Operating as the key contact point for students throughout the application and enrolment processes

The successful applicant will:

Communications Officer

Greenlane, Auckland

Do you love to write, have big ideas and a strong attention to detail? Looking for an opportunity to advance your skills as a communications professional?

New Zealand Tertiary College seeks a Communications Officer to support the Communications and Marketing Team with external and internal communication and various PR and marketing initiatives.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Exceptional writing, editing and oral communication skills
  • Highly accomplished verbal and written English
  • Experience in editing and proofreading
  • Experience in editorial responsibilities and media marketing initiatives
  • A sound understanding of communications, PR and social media
  • Proven experience in varying written communications genres

  • Experience taking photos for editorial and marketing purposes

Preferred:

  • A qualification in a relevant subject area preferred

International Marketing Officer (Korea)

Greenlane, Auckland

New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) has been providing comprehensive and professional programs to enable students to excel in their chosen fields for over 35 years. Our qualifications specialise in Early Childhood Teacher Education and more recently in Health and Wellbeing programs.

An opportunity has arisen at the college for someone to join the international marketing team to assist in the recruitment of international students from Korean and other South East Asian markets.

Reporting to the International Marketing Manager, the successful applicant will have:

  • Passion for customer service, building and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Drive to achieve set enrolments targets
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and use initiative
  • Highly accomplished verbal and written English
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required
  • An undergraduate qualification (ideally in marketing or an allied subject)

Healthcare Tutor

Greenlane, Auckland / Papanui, Christchurch

New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) is seeking to expand its health and wellbeing team in Auckland and to inspire students in their Level 3, 4 and 5 Health and Wellbeing studies. You will inspire students to pursue their health and wellbeing studies with your knowledge of the healthcare sector, providing assessment and tutoring support. You will also develop relationships within the sector to build awareness of NZTC through an array of initiatives.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Knowledge of and a passion for the Health and Wellbeing sector in Aotearoa / New Zealand
  • A good command of both verbal and written English.
  • A qualification in Health and Wellbeing or related discipline
  • Have an ability to effectively build and maintain professional networks and relationships
  • Experience in teaching and assessing students (experience with distance learning and teaching would be an advantage)
  • New Zealand driver license (Full)

You will need flexibility of work hours and travel outside Auckland is required. Having experience working in the health sector as a healthcare assistant would be an advantage.
