Tuition fees (Teaching programs)

This page displays the annual fees for New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) Teaching programs.

Please note: these fees are for domestic students only (NZ citizens or permanent residents). If you are an international student, please refer to the international programs and fees page.

Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Level 5) 1 year $4,437.00
Bachelor Upgrade 1 year $5,020.00
Bachelor Upgrade (NZTC graduates) 18 weeks $2,572.00
 
*Please note: these fees apply to 2013 only. They are approximate and based upon a full-time course load for each program of study. After you have applied and been accepted we will send you an invoice with the final cost of your tuition fees.

Student Fee Insurance

This is a fee to cover the insurance to protect student fees. The fee is based upon one stage of study and will be included on the first invoice.
Student ID card
$25.00
One off payment at beginning of study. Replacement cards for lost or stolen cards are $25.00

Safeguarding tuition fees

In the unlikely event that New Zealand Tertiary College is unable to deliver the program you have enrolled in, New Zealand Tertiary College has protected your fees with Public Trust.  Fees deposited and protected by the Public Trust are held in the Common fund which has an unsecured guarantee from the New Zealand Government.  The student fee protection for new Zealand Tertiary College is fully compliant with NZQA rules.  Should access to your fees be necessary, you may contact Public Trust on 0800 494 733 or feeprotect@publictrust.co.nz.This arrangement has been accepted by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority as meeting the requirements of the Education Act 1989 and the Student Fee Protection Rules 2013.
